Edenthorpe Football Club Becomes a Community Interest Company (CIC)

Edenthorpe Football Club is proud to announce its new status as a Community Interest Company (CIC), solidifying its long-standing role at the heart of the local community. The club has also rebranded, dropping “Junior” from its name to reflect its growing range of teams, which now includes both senior women’s teams and several U18s squads.

Rob, the Club Chairman, expressed his excitement about the club’s growth, stating, “As we grow and become one of the largest clubs in Doncaster, we now offer a wide range of teams from U7s to senior football. This includes disability teams and walking football. We truly have a team for anyone in the area wanting to get involved in football.”

With its new CIC status, Edenthorpe Football Club aims to continue expanding its reach and providing inclusive opportunities for all ages and abilities, further cementing its role as a key part of the Doncaster community.

The committee is looking forward to the upcoming season and the exciting future that lies ahead for the club.
