Doncaster Town Cricket Club Ladies Reach Historic Hundred Finals

Doncaster Town Cricket Club’s Ladies 1st XI have made history by reaching the finals of The Hundred this season, a huge moment for the team and the city.

The Ladies will compete in the semi-final against Saxton at Headingley this Sunday, with the match set to begin at 1:05pm. The day will also feature Sheffield Collegiate facing Sessay in the first semi-final at 10am.

Doncaster Town Cricket Club is urging the local community to come out and support their city at this landmark event. Entry for spectators is free, offering a great opportunity for cricket fans to enjoy a full day of thrilling competition.

The bar will be open all day, and food options, including fish and chips and a vegetarian choice, will be available from lunchtime. The club is eager for a strong local presence to cheer on the Ladies in this exciting final.

First Team Captain James Ward shared his encouragement, saying, “Go well the W&G! Enjoy the experience and showcase your skills in a fantastic stadium!”

This is a historic moment for the club, and Doncaster residents are invited to come and show their support for the team as they aim for success at Headingley.
