New Doncaster Café Bloom Café Opens, Run by Former Lakeside Village Restaurant Boss

A new café offering artisan ice cream, speciality coffees, and locally sourced breakfast, brunch, and lunch has opened in Doncaster’s Bessacarr. Bloom Café, the creation of Eva Nagy, former manager of Lakeside Village’s Etto Café, has officially opened its doors after weeks of preparation.

Nagy, who spent three years managing Etto Café, has turned her long-held dream of running her own café into reality. With the help of her husband, she transformed the venue into a warm, welcoming space, now ready to serve the local community.

“I always had a dream to open my own café one day, and I am very excited,” said Eva. “We’ve been working very hard in the past few weeks, and we’ll be using as many locally sourced products as possible.”

The menu boasts a selection of French-imported artisan ice creams, speciality coffee beans, and house-made cheesecakes. Eva highlighted that the café will offer breakfast, brunch, and lunch, with dedicated kids’ menus, and the café is on Foodhub for collection orders.

To mark its opening, Bloom Café will host a Macmillan Coffee Morning on 27 September, an initiative that Eva is excited to support.

“We are also available for private hire,” Eva added. “Along with a wild selection of loose-leaf teas, we’ve got a special teddy bear fruit tea for the kids.”

More details about Bloom Café and its menu can be found via its Foodhub page.
