Jeremy Clarkson, originally from Doncaster, has emerged as a strong contender for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2024. The former Top Gear host, now 64, has seen his odds to enter the Australian jungle slashed ahead of the upcoming autumn series.
With autumn signalling the return of popular TV shows like Strictly Come Dancing and I’m A Celebrity…, speculation around the 24th series of the ITV hit is ramping up, though no official start date has been announced.
Clarkson, now known for his Amazon Prime show Clarkson’s Farm and his new pub venture, The Farmer’s Dog, in Burford, Cotswolds, is a favourite for the line-up. Leading bookmaker Coral has shortened his odds to appear from 3-1 to 1-2, with Clarkson also favoured at 4-1 to be crowned King of the Jungle.
This speculation follows earlier rumours that Adele, 36, might join the line-up, with odds for her appearance at 8-1.
Coral spokesperson John Hill stated, “Jeremy Clarkson could be set for a break from his farm later this year, as he has been well-backed to be a contestant on I’m A Celebrity. The former Top Gear host is the early favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle in Australia.”
